My artworks are reflections of my moods and feelings over long periods. So, there are gloomy, optimistic, depressive, cheerful, painful, success, failure, death and life!

The artworks no matter what they are discussing or reflecting, they all contain the same strangely homogeneous mixture of humor, sarcasm and wisdom!

I am an artist who has been working with the dichotomies of popular culture for over 35 years. I was born in Egypt and live in Germany, which has given me the experience of living in both countries as home. These experiences have shaped my art and inspired me to explore the differences and similarities between the two cultures.

In my works, I use video art, collage, and painting to juxtapose traditional and contemporary iconography. I want to use my art to foster a dialogue between different cultures and contribute to a better world.
