Everyday life is dominated by negative reports of all kinds: Disasters, the extraordinary, the terrible. For most people and for most media, they represent the essence of the message. But negative reports are only supposed to rouse people to recognize what is wrong, turn off the negative and turn to the positive.
Ehab Aziz emphasises that peace begins with ourselves and that cooperation and understanding can solve conflicts. His art vision seeks to challenge 'reality' and 'truth' to give a different logic. His artistic expression is diverse and includes video art, portrait painting, mixed media constructions and narrative tableaus that follow this thought.
Ehab Aziz's 2D sculptures create an impressive effect through their lines and shapes. His video art and narrative tableaus offer the viewer a visual experience and invite reflection.
The exhibition invites visitors to discover new perspectives and to engage with the themes of sustainability and peace.
"For me, art is like a journey to myself, a journey to the truth, which in turn is the prerequisite for freedom. But as a constant traveller and seeker of truth, I myself become a slave to truth."
